Different from a conventional gas-electric hybrid, the plug-in hybrid will get its ‘power’ from the commercial grid, which is the wall socket plug-in or maybe a special rapid-charging station. It will use larger battery pack than a conventional hybrid which able to store enough power to allow car runs longer.

Honda still believe in fuel cell-electric cars, which produce electric power from on-board thermo-chemical reaction combining hydrogen and oxygen in the present of a catalyst, which will come true in 2020.
