Replace Used Lexus RX400h Hybrid SUV With Toyota Hightlander Hybrid

Buyer Question:
My wife is looking to replace her Lexus RX400h hybrid SUV, which she has driven happily for four years and over 62,000 miles now.

The new version of the vehicle, the 2010 model, is packed with lots of great new features and looks terrific — but is too very expensive, at over $55,000.

Is in that place any other vehicle you can recommend that has a similar amalgamation of hybrid technology, four-wheel drive, interior cargo space and luxury feel, moreover through a lower price tag?

Autos Expert Answer:
Have you checked out the RX’s cousin, the Toyota Highlander hybrid? While not cheap, it is less dear than the Lexus and, I think, more adapted to practice and comfortable.

A 1,300-mile family trip last summer convinced me that the Highlander is the SUV to have whether or not you want peace, bountiful interior space and impressive fuel economy.
